Book before the 27th

Check your strata's move rules
Many strata towers require you to book the elevator or loading area for move day. Book carpet cleaning after the furniture is out, and share buzzer and visitor-parking details with us.
Keep the receipt
We provide a receipt with every cleaning. Bring it to the move-out condition inspection so the carpet line item is easy to sign off.
Send your forwarding address
Under RTA section 38, the 15-day clock for your deposit starts at the later of the tenancy end and the date your landlord gets your forwarding address in writing.

How much does move-out carpet cleaning cost in a Richmond City Centre condo?
A fixed price by bedrooms: $100 for 1 bedroom, $120 for 2 bedrooms, $140 for 3 bedrooms. For houses and townhouses, add +$40 per additional room or hallway and +$50 per flight of stairs, with a $100 minimum. A receipt is provided.
Do I have to clean the carpets when I move out of a rental in BC?
Usually, if you've been there a year or more. Residential Tenancy Policy Guideline 1 says the tenant is generally responsible for steam cleaning or shampooing carpets after a tenancy of one year, and regardless of length if carpets were deliberately or carelessly stained, or there were uncaged pets or smoking.

How long does my landlord have to return my deposit?
Under section 38 of the Residential Tenancy Act, within 15 days after the later of the tenancy end date and the date they receive your forwarding address in writing, the landlord must return the deposit (plus any interest) or apply for dispute resolution to claim against it. Your cleaning receipt helps at the move-out condition inspection.
When should I book for a month-end move-out?
As early as possible. In Newclean's booking history, the 27th to the 30th of the month are the busiest days for move-out cleaning, and July, August and October are the busiest months. Outside those peaks, same-day or next-day slots are often available. Call or text 778-887-0969 to check.
Can I clean the carpets myself instead?
Yes. We deliver and pick up full-size iClean machines: Machine Only $50, Pro $60 (brush and sprayer), Max $70 (brush and spot cleaner). For spots, rugs and stairs, the iClean Compact is $30 for 48 hours.
